The orange QSticks are the thinnest rods made by Dutch manufacturer QPercussion. These rods sound like brushes, but with a bit more power. This is particularly noticeable on cymbals. The grip of these rods is comparable to 7A sticks from the most common brands. For soft and subtle playing, the orange Qsticks Natural Whisper rods are the best choice, both for drummers and percussionists. Because the individual sticks have a double lacquer coating, they will stick together a little at first. For best results, it is therefore important to play the rods for half an hour. The sticks will then come loose from each other so that the real QStick sound is achieved. An unplayed set from the shop or straight out of the box will therefore not immediately sound the same as a played-in pair.

QPercussion - QSticks

QSticks are handmade from a very sturdy and pliable type of wood. The rods have received a double layer of lacquer, which makes them last a lot longer. The fact that they are made by hand is nice: each pair receives the same care and attention, guaranteeing quality. QSticks are available in six different colours, each available in three variations: coloured, neon coloured and in natural wood. Each colour has its own sound and volume range. Goede stokken voor wanneer je niet zoveel lawaai wil maken. Het geluid heeft nog behoorlijk wat definitie, maar is gewoon veel zachter. Ideaal voor bij het oefenen thuis, bij gebruik in een drumles, of bij een onversterkte akoestische sessie.
