General

If you're still a beginner, it's best not to use any thicker reeds on your tenor saxophone. Instead, start out with this pack of 1-strength Vandoren Traditional reeds and gradually improve your embouchure before switching over to thicker ones. The slim build, relatively thick heart and thin tip combine to shape a dark, rich sound fit for lighter styles and classical pieces.
