We can now offer a special second-hand, hardly broken-in Stratocaster to today's guitarists. This 3-tone Sunburst Fender is in exceptional shape, yet has a price tag that's a lot friendlier than tose you’ll find on new models. This 2002 Strat gives you the classic body shape, distinct sparkle and superior playing comfort you may expect from a Fender instrument. Its comfortable maple neck features 22 medium jumbo frets and a modern, relatively flat, 9.5-inch radius. This American Standard Stratocaster comes with a Fender case and accessories.

With its innovative improvements, this Strat is up to Fender's standard. Its small vintage frets, for example, have been swapped for modern, medium jumbo frets, which make it easier to bend the strings. The rounded edges of the fretboard ensure even more playing comfort. Additionally, this guitar retains its tuning marvellously thanks to the 2-point vintage-style tremolo with block saddles. Lastly, the staggered machine heads ensure a better pressure on the string nut for more tone. They also eliminate the need for a second string guide, which also helps the instrument to retain its tuning.

SSS pickup configuration with Delta Tone circuit

The Fender American Standard Stratocaster is fitted with three traditional Alnico 5 pickups that give you the distinct, highly coveted clear Strat sounds that are perfect for twangy cleans and crunchy distortions alike. The 5-way pickup switch allows you to select the sound of each pickup separately or two combinations. In addition to a master volume and a tone control, this guitar also features a special Delta Tone circuit for the middle and bridge pickups, meaning that the tone potentiometer functions as a normal tone control in position 1 - 9, but takes itself out of the circuit in position 10, giving you a purer, rawer sound from the bridge pickup.
