General
The ESP LTD PS-1000 from the Xtone Series is a chic semi-acoustic guitar with a chambered mahogany body and a 3-piece maple neck. It has two Seymour Duncan Phat Cat humbucker-sized single-coil pickups that have Alnico 2 magnets and a medium output. They deliver focused mids with lots of bite and bright chords with rich overtones. The neck pickup is reverse wound/reverse polarity to prevent unwanted noise. Other features include the ebony fretboard and top-quality parts like the TonePros TOM bridge that underline this instrument's class.
