General
Improving on the perfection of the ES-335, the deluxe, sixties edition of the Gibson ES-345 semi-acoustic features timeless design details plus all the trimmings, including a tasteful set of split-parallelogram fretboard inlays. The mahogany neck has all the snug and familiar playability of a C-profile carve and a rosewood fretboard with a flat 12 inch radius and comfortably rounded edges. Meanwhile, the semi-hollow body has a three-piece maple and poplar construction, mounted with an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminium Stop Bar, ensuring maximum resonant transfer and excellent tuning stability.
The Gibson ES-345: Classic & Reliable Warmth
The body and hardware combo lay down an immediately powerful foundation sound framed by a fast response, rounded attack and lush tonal fullness and, sitting in the Rhythm and Lead positions, we have two specially designed Calibrated T-Type humbuckers that weave warm and classic amplified tone. A full pack of four hand-wired 500k pots have been teamed up with orange drop capacitors and a three-way switch to help scroll through the broad spectrum this guitar is capable of, while the centreblock hidden beneath the soundboard efficiently counters less-welcome feedback. To finish, this timeless model comes topped with a set of Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons and to keep it safe and secure on the road, comes tucked away in a form-fitting hardshell case.
