The Gretsch G2655T Streamliner Center Block Junior in Walnut Stain is a relatively compact hollow-body guitar with a licensed Bigsby tremolo unit. This semi-acoustic guitar is part of Gretsch's Streamliner series. As such, the Gretsch G2655 combines affordability with excellent quality and playing comfort. With its double-cutaway hollow body and powerful pickups, this guitar can certainly hold its own in a band, for instance.
G2655T Streamliner Center-Block Junior: wood types and centre block
This Walnut Stain-finished Gretsch has a body made of laminated maple and a set-in nato neck with a rosewood fretboard, resulting in a clean, very acoustic sound with a rich, buttery touch. The Streamliner's top is reinforced with a spruce centre block, which also helps to counteract feedback when you plug it in. Guitarists who'd like a compact, semi-acoustic guitar for rock, jazz or rockabilly purposes will be very pleased with the G2655T Center Block Junior.
Broad’Tron and Bigsby vibrato
Let's not forget to mention the two Broad'Tron pickups! These powerful pickups deliver solid bass, bright, shimmering trebles and growling mids. As such, they produce a unique sound that does great in a band situation. With a licensed Bigsby B50 tremolo, this T version of the G2655 allows you to add a vibrato effect to that classic Gretsch sound. Finally, the fixed Adjusto-Matic bridge and synthetic bone string nut help give Center Block Junior excellent tuning stability.

De Gretch speelt heerlijk, en heeft een heerlijke sound. Moest eerst wel even goed afgesteld worden, de snaren stonden mega hoog en de de hals mega hol. Ruim de tijd voor juiste afstelling genomen, de action nu perfect afgesteld en dan speelt deze gitaar werelds. De snaren die erop geleverd worden waren knudde dus die ook direct vervangen voor een nieuwe set Slinky Cobalt 0.10 wat echt een verrijking is voor deze gitaar.
