General
This limited edition of Gretsch's popular G5420TG semi-acoustic guitar was inspired by the majestic Black Falcon. The body has been sculpted from 50 pieces of maple, carefully dressed in a super-fly, high-gloss white finish with extra-large, bound f-holes, gold-plated hardware and a gold-coloured pickguard to match. This semi-acoustic explodes with style.
G5420TG: Rock ‘n’ Roll!
Lively and resonant are just two of the words that could be used to sum up the sound of this deluxe hollow body. It's equipped with two Black Top Filter'tron pickups that deliver a powerful punch with excellent presence. In essence, it's that typical sound that has set Gretsch apart from other guitar manufacturers since the early years of rock 'n' roll. You'll still be able to enjoy a bright sound at lower volumes too, thanks the addition of a treble bleed circuit on the master volume control. There are two further volume controls per pickup, as well as a master tone knob, and a 3-way pickup switch all of which are provided to tweak your desired tone to perfection.
