Celebrating 20 years of collaboration, the Ibanez and John Scofield designed Japanese JSM20 thinline semi-acoustic bears all of the best bits of their long-standing partnership plus some sweet and surprising tweaks. Just like its premium sibling, this more affordable features a maple body, but the set-in neck has been shaped from nyatoh and maple and comes topped with an ebony fretboard. The 22 frets lend the playability the lighter feel of a jumbo format, and every edge has been smoothed and finished using the Artstar Fret treatment. This more affordable Scofield signature comes complete with a hard-wearing and form-fitting hardshell case.

What also makes the JSM20 remarkably comfortable to play is the trusty feel of the 12" fretboard radius and the semi-gloss coated JSM-neck. Basically, you're immediately invited to fire up the Super 58 humbuckers at the bridge and neck, flick the 3-way pickup switch into place and use the four fitted pots to dial in one of the many vintage alnico-imbued sounds this signature hollow-body offers . In terms of accurate intonation and optimum tuning stability, you can lean on the Gibraltar Artist bridge. the well-known Quik Change III tailpiece and a real bone nut.

zo uit de verpakking speelde die al geweldig maar het geluid was waardeloos
meteen een nieuwe set d addario,s op gezet en hij kwam tot leven
waarom heb ik hem gekocht zonder te proberen ? filmpjes op YouTube gaven de doorslag en goede beoordelingen &er zit meteen een geweldige koffer bij
ik zou zelf op mn demo modellen in de winkel andere snaren zetten want dan verkoopt deze gitaar zichzelf met de originele snaren is het een brij van geluid
ik heb er nu een set halfrounds op zitten ga binnenkort ook even roundwounds en flatwounds op proberen
ongelofelijk veel gitaar voor dit geld met een geweldig geluid en bespeelbaarheid
