General

The Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple Fusion four-piece shell set simply combines contemporary design features to result in contemporary sound. This fully up-to-date set includes a 20 inch by 16 inch kick, a 10 inch by 7 inch and 12 inch by 8 inch rack tom, and a 14 inch by 13 inch floor tom, completing a tight fusion configuration. Since each hybrid shell has a two-ply maple construction with a single layer of wenge wood sandwiched in between, you're getting warm and articulate sound that's packed with a wide dynamic range, while both toms are mounted via the included YESS III system to reduce shell contact and improve resonance. To finish, each shell comes in a stage-worthy Natural look.
