Audio Technica's PRO37 is a condenser microphone that can be used for overhead applications and detailed instrument recordings. From choirs to acoustic guitars and piano, all these things can be transparently recorded by this Audio Technica PRO37, which also has an excellent price/quality ratio. It is delivered completely and contains a microphone clip, screw thread adapter, windscreen and carrying bag.
PRO37: pickup pattern
This pencil microphone has a cardioid pickup pattern, so that the desired sound source is isolated and no noise pollution occurs. The PRO37 can handle peaks of up to 142 dB SPL and starts responding from 30 Hz onwards. Its capsule is light of weight and therefore a quick response is achieved and details are accurately reproduced. The compact housing ensures user-friendliness and easy positioning.

De microfoontjes zijn compact en erg gevoelig, daarom lukt het om ze (bijna) onzichtbaar at front voor een koor te plaatsen en vanaf die positie goede registratie te bereiken.
een nadeeltje: omdat ze erg gevoelig zijn moet je ze bij overhead gebruik in een shock mount plaatsen, anders krijg je te veel bijgeluiden via de standaard binnen.
