General

Earthworks' QTC30 is a microphone designed to provide hyper-realistic recording in 360 degrees. This matched pair is additionally capable of making perfect stereo recordings. With its extremely wide frequency range of 3 Hz to as much as 30 kHz and in addition an almost perfectly flat response, it knows how to faithfully convey any sound source. This microphone does not suffer from the so-called "proximity effect" and can therefore be placed close to the sound source without any problems, even in tight spaces thanks to its compact design. You certainly won't suffer from clipping due to excessive volume: it has an SPL rating of no less than 140 dB. It is also available as a matched pair.
