General

Earthworks' QTC50 is an omni-directional microphone with an incredible frequency range. It is designed to produce the most realistic recordings. Capable of recording sounds from 3 Hz to 50 kHz, it knows how to capture every sound source down to the very last detail. In addition, it has an omni-directional directional characteristic and thus records equally well from all directions. This makes it easy to place at sound sources such as guitars, but also makes it very suitable as a room microphone or, for example, for recording ensembles or orchestras. With its maximum SPL of 140 dB, you won't easily hit its limit.
