The Lewitt LCT 040 Match combines a cardioid pickup pattern with a no-nonsense design, resulting in a wee small-diaphragm condenser microphone that couldn't be easier to set up in a crammed space. The built-in capsule boasts an excellent transient response and is perfect for capturing virtually any acoustic instrument in minute detail.

Really nice mic, well voiced for drum overheads (esp. hihat). And the fact it's so small - it's like 5cm long - means it's easy to find space for it on a drum kit. Works well as an accent on acoustic guitar too, though it's a bit light on low end to use as a main.

Ik gebruik deze mic voor live- versterking van een akoestische gitaar. Dat is perfect! Voor recording zijn er betere mics maar misschien niet voor zo’n scherpe prijs.
