General
The Sennheiser MKH 8020 spans the frequency range needed to fully bring the sound of organs, grands and double-basses to life. In fact, it captures every sonic nuance from 10 to 60,000 Hertz, so a stereo pair or three MKH 8020s in a Decca Tree set-up guarantee unprecedented realism. Also, since recordings can be easily pitched way down for dramatic effect without sacrificing clarity, this omnidirectional condenser microphone is also a more than solid pick for sound designers.
