General

The Sennheiser MZF 8000 II filter module adds a low-cut filter and a PAD to your MKH 8000 Series microphone, which is never a bad thing when you're on working on a film set or recording sound effects. The LPF has a fixed cut-off point at 16Hz which removes all subsonic frequencies from the sound, but can also be set at 70Hz whenever you've no need for the lowest frequencies or you simply want to counter the proximity effect when you're close miking.
