The Sennheiser MKH 8040 small-diaphragm condenser microphone offers pro-grade flexibility and has the ability to capture frequencies up to 50 kHz at a hefty sound pressure level. The cardioid pickup pattern and small diaphragm make the MKH 8040 exceptionally solid in poorly acoustically optimised recording spaces, ensuring a balanced frequency response alongside remarkably little distortion. And, to set you up with the whole shebang, the accessories include an XLR adapter, a microphone clip, a windshield and an aluminium transport case.
