Specially designed for miking up guitar amplifiers, the Sennheiser E 906 instrument microphone can be easily positioned in front of the speaker cabinet using a stand or by suspending it from the XLR cable. However, this is no one-trick mike, since it's just as effective when miking up drums, percussion, and can even handle brass. However it's set up, the Sennhesier E 906 registers natural audio, making it one of the most loved studio microphones of all time.

De e906 is een industriestandaard met een reden.
Los van dat hij zeer netuurgetrouw klinkt, en zelfs twee filters heeft om de klank nog iets aan te passen is hij vooral zeer goed ontworpen.
Waarbij een SM57 altijd vrij ver uitsteekt van een versterker, en het statief ook relatief ver voor de versterker hangt staat dit op kleinere podia vaak in de weg. Door zijn platte ontwerp hangt de e906 zo goed als vlak tegen de versterker aan, waardoor er geen statiefarm of wat dan ook in de weg staat.
Als extra bonus kan je deze microfoon zelfs zonder een statief met een stukje gaffertape voor de versterker bungellen - door zijn platte onwerp blijft hij ook als hij aan zijn kabel hangt altijd gericht op de versterker.

Thanks to Bax for the bargain price of 139€ ( 2021) for a top quality microphone very well build from Sennheiser.
Supercardioid, it has very good rejection of noise of background.
The sound is pleasant and warm when used to record saxophones.
Also, special mention for the quick delivery (4 days)

Super microphone! It's compact, has a good grip and it is built in strong material. Its design allows it to capture the sound from the amp, avoiding minor noises coming from background. Deliver always 5 stars with Bax Music!

Ik heb de E906 al jaren. Voor mij de beste mic (prijs/kwaliteit) om gitaar mee op te nemen. Snare en dergelijke gaat ook prima. De switch laat ik meestal in midden positie staan (lichte bump rond 4Khz).
De andere twee posities zijn nog meer bump rond de 4Khz of vlakke eq.

Deze mic unit is zeker goed voor een akoestische gitaar.
Geeft een lekkere warme sound. De stevige metalen behuizing getuigd van kwaliteit.
Deze mic is zeker aan te raden.

grand bien m'en a pris.
excellent pour les amplis combos guitares, mais je l'essayerais bientôt sur d'autres instruments, notamment des perc style SD ou BD et qui sait quel résultat j'obtiendrais?

Utilisé pour repiquer mon ampli Asgown ABM 600 sur CAB Ashdown 410T vers table de mix pour PA et système in ear. Basses profondes et bien définies, aigus clairs et brillants, médiums bien présents. Utilisé en réglage flat. Le son est puissant et très bien défini, beaucoup mieux qu'avec d'autres classiques. Le micro pends sur mon cab, pas de pied nécessaire.
Excellent achat. Envoi rapide, emballage soigné.
