If you're looking for a snare drumhead that creates a fat sound without unnecessary overtones and a controlled sustain, Evans' Genera HD is what you're looking for. This double-layer head consists of a 5 mil top layer and a 7.5 mil bottom layer, with a 2 mil damping ring used to control unwanted overtones. This damping ring does this by floating with the sheet when it is struck.

• In mid-2019, Evans changed the logo on the sheets. It used to have 'Level 360' on it, which is no longer the case with the new sheets. The sheets with 'Level 360' on them are still in circulation, so you might receive one with or without that text. Otherwise, the sheet is completely the same. All sheets are still delivered in the old box, which will also be replaced at the end of 2019.
