General

With the 3,400W Electro voice ELX1 12 A sound system, you get great sound in an easy-to-set-up format. Because it is an active speaker system you don't need any external amplifiers, as both the speakers and the subs are equipped with built-in amps. This set consists of two ELX 112P speakers, two ELX 118P subwoofers and two ASP 1 distance rods. It is ideal for bands, mobile DJs, theatres, conference halls and the like. Thanks to the robust internal amplifiers, all you have to do is connect a signal cable and a power cable, and you're good to go.

ELX 112P

This active 12-inch speaker is fashioned of wood and equipped with a metal grille for protecting the woofer during transport. It is also equipped with handles to make it easy to manage. This full-range speaker produces a sound that could be described in one word as 'musical', and despite its smaller 12-inch woofer, it delivers a beautiful, tight bass with a defined sound. In combination with the subwoofers, the ELX 112P delivers an impressive, detailed sound. Enjoy plenty of versatility to boot, as the 112P can also be used as a floor monitor.

ELX 118P

The ELX 118P is an active subwoofer by Electro Voice that has been specifically designed to be combined with the ELX 112P full-range cabinets. It is equipped with an internal crossover so you can loop the signal to your full-range speakers without needing additional devices. All you have to do is choose the sub function on your ELX 112P to ensure optimal frequency division between your full-range speakers and your subwoofers. Using subwoofers makes your set suitable for mid-sized locations with up to 250 people. This combination creates a sound pressure that you would typically expect from a much larger system.
