General

The ETX-35P is the largest speaker from the ETX series by Electro Voice. The fact that it is a genuine 3-way speaker makes it quite unique. This means that there are 3 speakers available - a woofer, a mid-range speaker and a tweeter - which are responsible for the bass, mids and trebles respectively. The result is a crystal-clear sound at impressively high volumes. Thanks to the built-in DSP module, you also have the option of fully adjusting the speaker to provide optimal sound for any given environment.

The ETX-35P: Digital Versatility

As previously mentioned, this speaker is equipped with a DSP module for fully adjusting the sound. To be specific, you have the option of choosing between Music, Speech and Live settings. Depending on your choice, the speaker is optimised for reproducing your signal. You also have the option of setting up the DSP according to the speaker's placement, such as stand or monitor. This setting optimises the internal EQ depending on the position you choose. Furthermore, you can also adjust the DSP if you're making use of a subwoofer. In that case, the crossover is activated and the signal is split, sending the bass frequencies to the subwoofer output. The entire sound can be adjusted via 3 pre-programmed presets. You can also set a delay to align the timing of the speaker with other speakers, and it can be adjusted in metres.
