The ETX series by Electro Voice consists of four different satellite speakers and two powerful subwoofers. The ETX-12P is an active full-range speaker from this innovative series. The power of this speaker lies in its effective DSP and incredibly flexibility.
Electro Voice ETX-12P: DSP Versatility
The Electro Voice ETX-12P features potent DSP functionality, making it possible to optimally adjust your speaker to fit any situation by applying the Music, Speech and Live settings. Depending on your choice, the speaker is optimised for reproducing your signal. You also have the option of letting the speaker know how it's positioned. Whether it's on a stand or being used as a monitor, you can toggle the setting and optimise the internal EQ depending on the position. You can also set the DSP up for optimal use with a subwoofer, in which case the crossover is activated and the bass is sent through the subwoofer connection. The overall sound can be adjusted via 3 presets and a delay can be set, to align the timing of the speaker with other speakers which can then be adjusted in metres. The built-in DSP makes this speaker incredibly and effortlessly flexible.
Mobility
Handles have been built into the housing of the ETX-12P making it comfortable and easy to move around while the rugged metal grille and a robust wooden construction keeps the speaker's internal components fully protected. Furthermore, visual feedback is provided by way of an LED status indicator.

De middentonen zijn iets te veel aanwezig.
Wat laag had er wel meer mogen inzitten voor zo'n full range.
Zijn broer, de ELX 12 vind ik veel beter (en zeker qua klankkleur), met naar mijn mening minder agressieve power.
Ik gebruik deze samen met de ETX-18 sub. Niks dan lof over deze speaker. Altijd een fullrange samen met een sub gebruiken voor live . Als je het met de knoppen achter goed afstelt heb je er heel veel plezier van .
Ik vind het een redelijke luidspreker.

Ook als fullrange kast lekker veel bas!
Met de etx 18sp bassen kun je er echt grote zalen mee aan. En de dsp is echt handig! Over het algemeen een mooi compact topje die top klinkt! Vandaar ook de 5 sterren
