General

The dividing line between real pianos and digital pianos is becoming increasingly blurred. The Kurzweil Forte, for instance, is an extremely advanced and practical stage piano. It has 16GB of sounds that can be accessed instantly thanks to its revolutionary FlashPlay technology. These sounds include harpsichords, clavinets, a selection of vintage electric pianos and a number of other instrument groups as well as German and Japanese concert grand pianos. Not only are the sounds extremely realistic, but so are the dynamics.

Kurzweil Forte: Perfect for the Stage

When it's not possible to use an acoustic piano, the Kurzweil Forte digital piano is a more than worthy alternative. The fully-weighted Fatar keyboard is a joy to play on and accurately registers your attack to faithfully produce the dynamics in your playing. Naturally, organ sounds are present too, with the KB3 ToneReal Organs including presets for Hammond, Vox and Farfisa with 9 realistic drawbars. Compared to its predecessor, the Kurzweil Forte has double the processing power. It also has a master EQ and a compressor on the front panel so that you can easily tweak your perfect sound. Another new feature is the user interface in the form of a colour display. There are also 9 sliders with LED strips so that you can instantly see where your parameters are set.

FlashPlay

FlashPlay is far more than just another marketing term. What it means is that samples load instantly so that you don't have to wait on them. As a result, you have instant access to top-quality piano sounds, which is fantastic when playing live and even allows you improvise by changing on the fly. With a build quality that is second to none, the Forte is more than ready to take its place on the stage.
