General

Using the special Nashville/High Strung Tuning, you can actually simulate the shimmering sound of a 12-string, with a standard 6-string guitar. To achieve this unique sound, the E, A, D, and G strings are tuned an octave higher, and to do this, you need a set of thinner-than-average strings. This pack of D'Addario EJ38H is purpose made for Nashville tuning and is based on a standard set of .010s.

Ik had nooit van Nashville tuning gehoord tot ik dit setje, toevallig, tegen kwam op Bax.

Mijn eerste gitaar (een Western, die alleen nog sentimentele waarde had) stond al jaren stil, hele zware actie. Hij is met dit setje ineens weer een bruikbaar instrument geworden.

Een hele mooie klank kleur om als optie in mijn studio te hebben, en dat voor 6,95.

Heel blij mee.

Geeft een supergaaf geluid! Je tokkels klinken verrassend, je slagjes klinken rijker en je toonladders klinken ronduit verwarrend.

De G snaar is nogal kwetsbaar helaas door de dunheid, ik ga deze denk ik vervangen door een iets dikkere snaar.

Erg leuk om eens te proberen op een 3/4 gitaar of 000 model. Erg leuk om samen met iemand met gewone stemming te spelen.
