General

Once installed, this pack of Fender-grade strings adds brightness and clarity to any 12-string acoustic guitar with a naturally dark sound. Since each string has been made from an 80% copper and 20% zinc alloy, they not only have a refined sound, but a distinctly refined playing feel. The fairly light .010-.050 gauge has a lot to do with this, since it not only raises playing comfort but playing control. These strings are also that bit easier to install since each comes fitted with a convenient ball-end.

Wrote the following about Fender 80/20 Bronze Acoustic Strings Ball End for 12-String Guitar

Waar ik voor mijn 6-snarig klassiek, elektrisch en western altijd d'addario heb, kies ik voor de 12-snaar altijd Fender. Zijn gewoon sterker, wat bij de hele dunne G en D snaar wel zo prettig is.
Mooi warm geluid.

Snaren zijn opzich goed. Voor mijn gitaar een beetje dof, dan was de d'addario Ej38 stukken beter. Veel sprankelender etc , maar die ging dan weer niet langer dan een paar dagen mee eer er een snaar brak en de kwaliteit van het geluid achteruitholde....
