The CD-60 V3 is an upgraded, Walnut edition, of the incredibly popular and surprisingly inexpensive Fender CD Series. This steel-string acoustic is developed for beginners who want to start seriously honing their skills. The laminated body is shaped by mahogany back and sides and a spruce top and fitted with a nato neck and walnut fretboard and bridge.

The CD-60 V3: A Comfortable Acoustic

The combination of wood types gives this guitar a classic rich fullness of foundation sound only delivered by a Dreadnought-shaped body. This is accented by a roundness in the higher registers while there's more than enough attack to the overall tone. Finger pick or play with a plectrum, all with a comfortable C-profile neck in the palm of your fret hand. The CD-60 V3 Walnut comes with a standard set of acoustic .012-gauge strings installed, that, due to the 25.3-inch scale length, take on a lot less tension than most standard acoustics meaning that the playability feels lighter and needs less pressure to hold notes and chords.
