General
With this PM-1 Standard Dreadnought NE All Mahogany, Fender offers a steel-string with an all-solid construction. As the name implies, the top, sides, and back are all indeed made of mahogany. For this Dreadnought, Fender opted for an open-pore finish that really accentuates the natural grain of the wood and contributes to the excellent response while playing. This Fender offers a warm sound that will suit any type of music.
PM-1 Standard Dreadnought: ergonomic playability
Like most acoustic steel-string guitars by Fender, this Paramount also possesses a mahogany C-profile neck and an ovangkol fretboard which contrasts nicely with the colour of the body. Once you start playing it, you'll notice that this guitar has a remarkably good resonance, which probably has to do with its authentic bone string nut and compensated bridge saddle. With a scale length of 25.3 inches and a flat fretboard radius of just 15.75 inches, the PM-1 offers modern playability. It also features some luxurious details like a 3-ply binding along the neck.
Fender Paramount: taking the stage
Paramount is a name seeped in history, associated with things like the famous music concert venue in Seattle and the well-known American record label. To honour the Paramount name, Fender selected the very best wood types available within the price category to make this Dreadnought. The all-solid construction required a combination of special wood types, so this steel-string would be able to offer a rich sound. Last but not least, the included luxury hard case and humidifier will help you keep the PM-1 in great condition so you can enjoy it for years to come!

Fender's design philosophy is a lot like that of Porsche's. They have a few iconic models that don't change a lot over the years, but become more and more refined with each new generation.
