This model comes with the same high-grade specifications a the much-loved APX700II but with that all-important 12-string twist. So, you still get the detailed acoustic response of a solid spruce soundboard and the projection and warmth provided by a nato back and sides, while the snug APX body shape has been given a deep yet subtle cutaway allows smooth access to the highest of the frets.

Yamaha's own ART technology has been integrated, where one electric-piezo pickup has been installed beneath the bridge and another beneath the soundboard and and have been combined to capture the full tonal and resonant spectrum of this guitar. The result is then processed by a built-in preamp system complete with advanced tone controls and it's this smart approach to the electro-acoustic model that ensures every detail and dynamic nuance is given full voice.
