General

Yamaha harks back to their first steel-stringed guitars from the 1960s with the Red Label. The FG3 is an acoustic dreadnought guitar with a fully solid body resulting in a rich and very full sound. This sound is partly due to the special treatment of the top. The top is treated with Acoustic Resonance Enhancement, which increases resonance, extends sustain and makes the midrange and treble sound clearer. Moreover, the guitar comes with a sturdy bag and strings from the well-known Elixir brand.
