A more deluxe edition of the Shure SRH440A studio headphones, the Shure SRH840A headphones have a comfortable, closed design and a surgically tuned frequency response to support mixing as well as monitoring. The neodymium-based drivers guarantee rich basses, defined mids and articulate trebles as well as an incredibly low harmonic distortion level and natural, linear audio reproduction. The look is just as luxurious as the specifications: from the gold accents to the streamlined yet durable shape of the ergonomic ear-cups and padded headband, which have been designed to be worn for hours on end. The Shure SRH840A studio headphones come complete with a removable cable and screw-on mini-jack to jack plug adapter, a protective pouch, and to keep them in shop-fresh condition, the ear cushions can be removed and replaced.

bonne qualité audio mais solidité déplorable. l'arceau s'est cassé sur un coté puis après réparation de l'autre alors qu'il ne sort jamais de mon studio et n'est jamais plié. Même problème avec avec le Shure SRH 940. Donc gros problème sur la qualité de fabrication chez Shure

These headphones sit very comfortably on your ears and head. I can wear them for a long time without getting any pain or tiredness on my ears. The sound that comes out of them is loud and clear and they are also very good at noise cancelling. I highly recommend them. Another great product made by Shure

Mijn Shure SRH 840 was gevallen en de beugel bij het oorkussen brak af. (Zwak punt vind ik!)Ik heb hem wel zelf kunnen repareren, maar voor de zekerheid toch een Shure SRH 840A besteld.
Hoewel ik al uitermate tevreden was over de SRH 840, klinkt de Shure 840A toch voller in het algemeen en de constructie lijkt me ook beter?

Top product. Heel comfortabel met vervangbare oorkussens en kabel. Past beter dan de oudere 840. Klinkt niet zo plat maar meer genuanceerd op de bassen en hoog. Misschien beter om de klank rijker te noemen. Isoleert niet zo veel buitengeluiden als de Beyerdynamic DT 770M (>30dB) maar meer dan genoeg om te focussen op je eigen mix/muziek zonder te veel afleiding van alle buitengeluiden.
