General

The HPH-MT5 studio headphones by Yamaha offer balanced audio reproduction that are as close to the original source as can be. Frequencies aren't enhanced or weakened, which means the signal is balanced and reliable. The closed construction ensures excellent audio isolation and unwanted noise is effectively eliminated. The audio in the ear pieces doesn't escape either, and they're comfortable enough to wear for extended periods of time. The headphones come with a 3m-long cable and a gold-plated jack adapter.

Lightweight powerhouse

Under the bonnet, the HPH-MT5 headphones feature 40mm drivers with a built-in CCAW voice coil and neodymium magnets that ensure al frequencies come through loud and clear at any volume level. They boast a broad range of 20 Hz and 20 kHz, and the sweat-resistant headband has a soft padded underside for maximum comfort. You can rotate the wear pads and listen to music in mono when you're putting together a good stereo mix. The HPH-MT5 headphones come with a handy pouch for storage and transport.

Wrote the following about Yamaha HPH-MT5W studio headphones, white

Ik was al een tijdje op zoek naar een goed headphone om op te mixen én om te gebruiken om op reis muziek luisteren. Daarom had ik eerst de Audio Technica MX50 gekocht, maar deze beviel toch niet. Ondanks het comfort viel de sound van deze 'flat' headphone nogal tegen.

Toen deze Yamaha besteld, en wow! Wat een gebalanceerde, maar super 'levendige' sound. Het is een headphone voor 125 euro, dus verwacht niet het aller sprankelenste hoog het het diepste laag, maar voor dit geld is het echt een ongelooflijk goede headphone! Gewoon kopen!
