EVE Audio's PMR 2.10 is a 19-inch monitor router. This incredibly useful tool is designed to manage multiple sets of speakers, like in professional and home recording studios, and places like showrooms. It's ideal for anyone who needs to test a mix through different sound systems.
Tech Talk
On the rear panel of the router, you'll find two analogue balanced stereo inputs, a green LED status indicator and ten stereo jack outputs. Switching between the different speaker systems takes place by transferring balanced signals over a high-quality relay. Because there are no other components along the signal path, it is able to provide as clean and consistent a signal as possible. Using the included wired remote control with large rotary knob, you can select the speaker system you want to use. Use the front panel of the PMR 2.10 to select the source.
Other Features
The output selection of this device is displayed via an active orange LED light. You can also make use of the included digital 10cm-high display, however, and even adjust the intensity of its LED light. Place the display in a visible spot and a single glance will tell you which system you're listening to at any given moment. The PMR 2.10 is a simple concept, but it's actually an ideal tool for enhancing your workflow.
