General

Easily switching between audio sources and monitors is a studio-essential. The Palmer Monicon XL is able to switch between no less than three stereo sources and three monitor pairs. This unit even provides a full-range mono-sum output for hooking up a mono-monitor or a subwoofer and the best bit about it is that the volume of each output can be controlled.

What makes the Palmer Monicon XL so unique when compared to more standard monitor controllers, is the addition of a 'correlation meter' that displays the phase difference in the stereo signal, making it way easier to isolate any faults in the mono-compatibility of a mix. Since the Monicon runs on a fully analogue circuit, there are no issues with latency or signal interference, and you get a more realistic performance out of your monitors. Two headphone outputs have been fitted along with dedicated volume controls, a dim pot, a main-cue selector, a cue-master controller, and a talkback function with its own volume control, just to make sure that this unit really does provide everything you're ever going to need.

J’ai hésité avec Presonus, mais j’ai préféré le Palmer notamment par rapport à la sortie mono et au réglage des volumes d’enceinte à l’arrière.
Je suis très content de cet achat et je recommande.

Agelopen week de monitorcontroller ontvangen. Ik heb twee sets monitors aangesloten en doet wat hij moet doen, ik kan omschakelen zonder niveau verschil. Ook de cue functie werkt erg prettig.
Ook had ik nog nooit een fatsoenlijke talk-back gehad maar de ingebouwde voldoet prima, goede verstaanbaarheid met de ingebouwde microfoon. Kortom aan te raden!
