When you connect two stereo sources to the stereo and aux inputs on the M-Patch 2, you'll see you have a volume control for each. On the control panel, you can select which source you want to listen to. You can also use the two outputs to hook up two sets of stereo speakers and easily switch between them which is a great advantage while mixing. Another option is listening via the headphone output, which also has its own volume control. You can even switch the signal to mono, which is beneficial in checking whether or not your mix is mono-compatible.
