Avantone Pro are especially renowned for their MixCubes - rectangular reference monitors with a single driver. This MixTower monitor contains precisely that driver, but it also features a durable woofer, for extensive bass-frequency reproductions, and a folded ribbon tweeter, which reproduces the high frequencies in a balanced and tranquil fashion. A foot switch is included and it allows you to alternate lo-fi monitoring, via the MixCube driver, with full 3-way reproduction. In short: if you have this monitor you won't need two separate monitor systems - you can hear whether a mix also holds its own on cheaper sound systems in no time. This truly is a smart, high-quality monitor with an attractive price tag!
