General
Within the KRK Kreate series, this Kreate 8 is the largest studio monitor. Just as recognisable as a regular studio monitor (thanks to the yellow woofer), yet a little more focused on domestic use. After all, a regular studio monitor does not offer Bluetooth, due to Bluetooth latency, which is not convenient with monitoring. With the Kreate 8, it's a fine studio monitor, but with the luxury that you can also listen to it just for fun when streaming music from your phone. In terms of content, it's a fine product; TRS, XLR and RCA are present, so you can connect almost anything with an audio cable. In terms of performance, this monitor dives to 48 Hz at the bottom, or 40 Hz at -10 dB, with even an impressive 40 kHz at the top. At least in the section audible to us, this delivers plenty of detail. KRK is always a top-seller among studio monitors, we'll see what the Kreate will do!
