General
The AV 42 monitors are the follow-up to the successful AV 40 series by M-Audio. Just like their predecessors, the AV 42s are compact, active monitors. Despite their size, they produce a bigger and better sound than most of their competition. This is due to the fact that M-Audio only uses high-quality components in the construction of the AV 42. They've also added features like a volume control on the front of the left speaker for ease of use. You can expect to hear a big, full sound from these monitors.
M-Audio AV 42 Monitor Pair: I/O
No matter what equipment or device you want to connect, the AV 42 offers a number of possibilities to do so. It's equipped with RCA connectors so that you can easily connect things like mixers, TVs and PCs. On the front are two mini jack connectors: one stereo auxiliary input for connecting an external audio device and one headphone socket so that you can continue listening without disturbing others.
A true all-rounder
M-Audio's AV 42 monitors are very versatile and as such are perfect whether you want to use them for producing new music or as monitors when playing live. In short, if you don't know that you need something else, quite recommended.
Just two more things: don't judge its sound right after unpacking, let it play for at least couple of hours, and don't put it right on the desk, lift it up to the level of your ears you'll be amazed how much difference it does.

- Er komt een top geluid uit met een goede bass.
- Goed werkende surround sound.
- Makkelijk aan te sluiten door de meegeleverde kabels, plug and play.
- Geluidsbereik is uitermate hoog door de tweeters en woofers. En de volumeknop is goed beweegbaar voor een precieze volumeregeling.
Deze twee studio monitoren zijn zeker een aanrader!
