General
The Pioneer DM-40-W set of desktop monitors were developed in collaboration with TAD Labs and inspired by the S-DJ X series. This white pair of speakers feature a front-loaded bass reflex system that provides an impressive kick. In fact, the 3D audio imagery is possible thanks to the soft-dome tweeters with round diffusers. All this fits into two cabinets with RCA and AUX connection options. An added bonus is that you can connect a set of headphones to the speakers for direct, detailed monitoring.
In-house studio
These speakers are suitable for personal as well as professional use. and offer excellent audio quality due to 4-inch fibreglass woofers and 0.75-inch tweeters. The 3D audio imagery is impressive and the high tones are sent in every direction to create an all-encompassing sweet spot for an awesome stereo sound. Thanks to the low free-air resonant frequency, you're going to literally feel the bass these speakers produce, even if they're right up against the wall.
Functional front
These speakers have a sleek design that's not just good to look at. The front is concave to allow for ideal audio dispersion and once positioned in your studio, the size and placement of these speakers will prevent crossover. The large volume control on the left speaker is easily adjustable and other gear connection options include RCA and AUX, besides the headphone monitor output.

als je thuis draait of een klein feestje hebt is dit echt een aan rader, en zu kunnen hard!!!!!! niet normaal voor die prijs.

Maar voor de prijs zijn ze aardig goed gebouwd ook. Stevige conus van Carbon oid.
Jack naar tulp kabel zit erbij, maar is, net als de kabel om links en rechts te verbinden, vrij kort. Maakt niet uit als je ze naast je monitor hebt maar anders..
Tevreden over het geluid. Wederom, dat is kijkend naar prijs/kwaliteit want ik had toch liefst een wat strakkere en lagere bass hieruit gehaald.

kabel bij besteld en zat er ook bij super ik raad bax aan ieder aan super.
voor de speakers ben ik ook best tevreden ik gebruik deze in combinatie met amplitube.

Alleen moest ik een concessie doen ivm de beschikbare ruimte. Ik heb dus deze gekozen ook vanwege het formaat; ze zijn vrij klein. Je merkt dat in het (sub)laag deze speakers het ietwat laten afweten. Maar dat was ook te verwachten. Maar desondanks geven deze speakers toch een heel behoorlijk geluid, en indien nodig kunnen ze ook een wat grotere ruimte heel behoorlijk vullen. In vergelijking met mijn oude computer speakers een hele verbetering (Logitech 2.1 setje).
De bouwkwaliteit en afwerking zijn heel gedegen. Zo in het wit vind ik ze ook erg mooi staan. Wat ik daarnaast erg fijn vind is dat ze automatisch aan/uit gaan; de speakers reageren op het geluidsignaal. Krijgen ze signaal, dan gaan ze aan. Na 5 minuten (ofzo) geen signaal gaan ze uit.

Ik vind jullie service en over het algemeen al jullie producten top.
Ik heb een novation launchkey mini en die bevalt mij zeer goed.

Dat was helaas niet het geval met de pioneer dj speakers.
Ik bent uitermate tevreden met jullie service, maar helaas niet met het product..:(
Ik maak en produceer muziek en dat is niet aan te raden met de speakers.
Mijn computer speakers hebben meer bass en heldere geluid.
Ik raad het dus echt niet aan voor iemand die muziek maakt om deze speakers te kopen.
Wel voor een feestje of iets dergelijks prima.
Ik ben zeer ongelukkig ermee.
Maar kijken of ik iemand anders er tevreden mee kan maken.

Eerst maar de pluspunten. Net design, powersave modus. (Bij geen signaal valt , na enige tijd, de spanning van de versterker, en een volumeknop aan de voorzijde.
De mindere kanten.
Hoog klinkt het wat schel, maar niet onaardig. In het midden en laag laat deze speaker het compleet afweten. Nu wordt over dit product vaak gezegd dat je veel krijgt voor je geld, maar Pioneer moet nog eens goed gaan kijken naar het prijskaartje dat ze aan deze speakers hangen want die ligt mijn inziens zo'n 80 euro te hoog, gezien vergelijkbare producten die deze geluidskwaliteit geven.
Gelukkig was omruilen bij Bax geen enkel probleem en heb ik nu een perfect setje KRK RP5's gekocht.
