The PMC result6 includes a pair of studio monitors equipped with ATL technology: the bass response system that forms the core of every monitor that PMC makes. Designed to sound completely neutral, these active 2-ways are built for mixing and mixing only. As such, these so-called reference monitors don't feature any complex DSP processing or room-correction options. Instead, everything is aimed geared towards maximum transparency. The finned design of the high-frequency drivers, the D-Fins, offer a wide stereo sweet-spot, which ultimately translate to excellent off-axis response across a wider range, while your trebles retain extreme definition at all times and are never 'smeared' all over the place. You're free to change your listening position without losing out of any part of the reproduced audio, and the frequency response remains flat and natural regardless of where you're sitting.
