All about the Prodipe Pro 5 V3
This active studio monitor contains a 5.25-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter and offers built-in amplification of 50 and 25 watts respectively. This combination delivers a frequency response of 55 Hz - 20 kHz, which is more than sufficient for pop music. You can hook up just about any source to this monitor using its variety of connectors which include XLR, jack and RCA (the RCA is unbalanced). All this is contained in a sturdy wooden cabinet that gives your audio a lot of consistency.
What's new in the V3
The V3 in this monitor's product name refers to the fact that it's an update from previous versions. This particular model has a fibreglass woofer which delivers a better dynamic range and a more natural-sounding frequency response. Prodipe has also completely overhauled the crossover so that it provides a more transparent transition from woofer to tweeter. The bass reflex port on the front guarantees an excellent bass response. With these features and at this price, the V3 is a serious contender in the world of studio monitors.
