The modern Samson Resolv SE series is redesigned as the successor of the highly popular Resolv studio monitors. This Resolv SE8 is the largest model from the series. Samson Resolv SE8: sound with body

The technological basis consists of a large 8-inch woofer and a 1.25-inch silk-dome tweeter. Thanks to its extensive diameter, the woofer delivers an impeccable reproduction of low frequencies and sounds highly natural. The bass reflex port adds an extra punch to the sound pressure. A waveguide system helps the tweeter by optimally attuning the dispersion of the sound to the woofer, to ensure perfect unity. The Resolv SE8 is active: a perfectly matched amplifier is built in. 75 watts are sent to the woofer and 25 watts are allocated to the tweeter.

Honest sound

Thanks to the present active crossover, the frequencies are divided optimally between the woofer and tweeter. This results in a transparent, clean sound image. The system has a linear frequency response. Obviously, a studio monitor needs to produce an honest sound. Samson have understood this and with this SE8 mixing will be a treat and you will instantly be able to pick out flaws. Its housing is made of solid MDF and designed to produce a high sound pressure without resonance.
