Offering a compact monitoring solution that can be taken anywhere, the flexible Yamaha MS101-4 monitor can be hooked up to a laptop, a mixer or audio interface, and can be mounted onto a microphone stand via the fitted 3/8 inch screw-threaded mounting point to set the speaker at the optimum height and enhance audio dispersion. This Yamaha-designed monitor is able to take line-signals as well as microphone signals and even features a line output for linking a second speaker to give the volume a boost.

Wrote the following about Yamaha MS101-4 Active Studio Monitor (Single Unit)

Op zoek naar zeer kleine 'Book shell speakers" heb ik twee van deze actieve Yamaha studio monitors aangeschaft. In combinatie met een Brennan JB7 (CD hard drive jukebox) geeft het een goed gebalanceerd geluid. Boxen zijn stevig en solide gebouwd. Natuurlijk zijn kleine boxen vaak beperkt in de weergave van lage bassen maar dat valt hier ontzettend mee en is dankzij de extra toonregeling zeer goed af te stemmen. Let enkel op dat je voor stereo weergave een verloopstekkertje moet aanschaffen om beide boxen separaat aan te sturen. (kosten nog geen 5 euro)
Kortom een prime product voor een redelijke prijs!!
