MR10Smk3: technology
This Mackie has a Class-AB amplifier with an RMS output of 120 watts. Its efficient housing with bass reflex ports on the back enables this unit to produce a sound pressure level of 113 dB. The frequency response ranges from 35 to 180 Hz with an adjustable crossover between 40 and 180 Hz. This ensures you'll always have the right mix of sub and full-range monitors, even when you combine the MR10Smk3 with speakers by other brands.
Glass aramid composite
The most essential element of this sub is its 10-inch woofer, whose diameter is large enough to reach sub-lows effortlessly. It's made of a sturdy material called glass aramid composite, which guarantees detailed low-frequencies. Seeing as a studio subwoofer is designed to do more than sound hollow and loud, as is the case with home-cinema systems, it is made of aramid fibres and driven by a powerful amp module.
