General
With the Shure BLX188, you can send the sound of two guitars or a guitar and bass guitar to your mixer wirelessly. It is an excellent system for bands that are looking for a well-functioning, yet affordable and easy-to-use wireless system. You can connect your electric or electro-acoustic instrument to one of the solid and lightweight BLX1 bodypacks with one of the included WA302 guitar cables. After you have let the set select a suitable frequency via the QuickScan function, the transmitter is ready to reliably transfer the signal to the BLX88 dual receiver. Connect the receiver to your mixer or active speaker via the jack or XLR output.
Shure BLX188: easy to use
You don't need to be a sound technician to set this system up. As the Shure BLX88 has sensitive built-in antennas, you don't need to endlessly twist them in an attempt to improve reception. What's more, the QuickScan function automatically finds a clean channel for an interference-free connection with the BLX-1 transmitters. The BLX88 can still clearly receive the beltpacks' signal up to 90 metres away. Additionally, these beltpacks offer a 14-hour battery life for two AA batteries.
