The Gemini MDJ-900 is an affordable tabletop USB media player that's ideal for DJs who are just starting out. The intuitive interface enables you to learn how to create Hot Cues and Auto/Manual Loops. There's no need for external softare with the MDJ-900, but you can connect it to your computer or PC via the USB port and use it as a MIDI controller to operate your favourite DJ software. It's also possible to link 2 to 4 MDJs together via Ethernet and have them play the same audio source. The SYNC button automatically syncs the tempos, making mixing easier than ever.
The Gemini MDJ-900 is equipped with an 8-inch ultra-high resolution touch-sensitive jog wheel that has realistic resistance that's adjustable for slipping and scratching. It also has a display for visual feedback of the current mode, among other things. The jog wheel offers a variety of modes including slip, reverse play, vinyl, and stutter cue. What makes this tabletop really stand out is its 4.3-inch full-colour LCD display that shows you information like titles, BPM, or pitch as well as Slip Mode, Hot Cues and Auto/Manual Loops. Making use of this functionality won't have an effect on the original track, which means you can experiment to your heart's content!
