General

Remo is one of the largest manufacturers of drumheads in the entire world. They have the perfect head for every shell. If you've always had a soft sport for the sound of the original Remo Emperor drumheads from the 60s, then this Vintage Emperor Coated head will be right up your alley. The VE-0118-00 is an 18-inch head that will give your floor tom a bright and very controlled sound.

Remo VE-0118-00 18-inch Vintage Emperor Coated

The 18-inch coated Vintage Emperor offers medium sustain and emphasis on the mids and lows. It consists of two plies of 7.5-mil-thick polyester film, which is about 0.19 mm. The VE-0118-00 is also highly durable, so you won't need to fear breaking the drumhead in the middle of a solo. Sensitivity and stick response are also top notch, allowing you all the space you need to create accurate dynamic nuances.
