General
Remo's clear Pinstripe drumheads are instantly recognisable and you'll find them all over the world. And not without reason, as these heads offer excellent quality and a great sound. The head consists of two plies of 7-mil (0.178mm) Mylar with the Pinstripe ring in between. And this ring is there for good reason: it dampens any high overtones and allows for much better resonance. This 16-inch Pinstripe drumhead offers short sustain and a warm sound, making it ideal for pop, rock and R&B music.

Si vous chercher un son epais sans trop de résonance le double pli est fait pour vous, changer les peau d'origine avec ça et vous verrez la différence. j'avoue préférer légèrement les evans mais ceux ci sont régulièrement moins cher pour un son relativement proche

Tot zover tevreden op een Ludwig Epic 100 year anniversary. Ziet er klassiek uit maar dondert als Thor's hamer en dus super voor live onversterkt spelen waar de toms wel eens wegvallen. Stemmen heel makkelijk zelfs zonder stemsleutel dus perfect voor heavy sludge muziek.

Volle sound, vette attack en duurzaam ten top! Uitermate geschikt voor pop/rock/metal. Dubbellaags vel, dus ook geschikt voor die iets hardere hitters onder ons! Mis in de serie alleen een 10/12/14/16 set, dus vandaar dat deze lost besteld dient te worden. Het pakket is tevens erg fijn, omdat er een gratis 14" Ambassador bij zit.

Een klassieker, de Remo Pinstripe. Dit dubbellaagsvel klinkt vooral 'vet' en is dan ook erg geschikt voor (heavy)rock en dergelijke muziek. Vel gaat lang mee en kan zonder problemen laag gestemd worden. Er zit een stevige attack in. Als je een lange toon wilt moet je een ander vel kiezen (Remo Emperor bijvoorbeeld).
