General

The Roland PD-8 is an 8.5-inch rubber dual-trigger pad with a highly accurate response. Connect it to a Roland drum module and it converts the incoming signal to a sample of your choice. This durable drum pad is equipped with two touch-sensitive zones, the head and the rim, enabling you to make an audible distinction between a rimshot and a regular snare or tom stroke. It is also possible to assign a different sound to each zone in your drum module.
