General

This LP Street Can is made from a die-cast steel oil barrel with a 1mm-thick shell. In combination with the absence of a resonant head, it is able to produce sound at an incredible volume. Street Cans are ideal when you want a deep, raw, powerful sound you just can't get out of standard floor toms. Use the Street Can in combination with your toms, or as a replacement. It's up to you!

Latin Percussion LP1618 RAW Street Can 18 x 16 inch

LP equipped the Street Can with extra long legs so it can be played standing up, which is particularly handy on stage for percussion groups, tribal drumming and solos. They can be used for any style of music, but are really ideal for South American genres or when your percussion really needs to slice through the mix.

This Street Can is available in three sizes. This 18 x 16-inch version is the largest in Latin Percussion's RAW series, which also includes such innovative metal instruments as the Jangle Bell, the Potz and the Trash Snare. Want something new? Have a look at the LP RAW series!

Latin Percussion have added a number of unique percussion instruments to their assortment. Now the LP RAW Series includes a Trash Snare, Jangle Bell, Potz and Street Cans. These instruments were inspired by handmade instruments found all over the world that were built out of recycled materials.
