General

This is the black edition of the unique Yamaha guitar-ukulele hybrid. The GL1-BL combines the size of a tenor ukulele with the 6 string neck of a classical guitar, making this instrument, in fact, perfect for small children. The Guitalele is also a perfect travel guitar for any guitarist. It comes with its own gig bag, so you can easily take it with you.

Characteristics of the Yamaha GL1-BL
This matte black Yamaha GL1 Guitalele has a body of meranti wood with a top of spruce. The 48mm-wide neck is made of nato (similar to mahogany), and has an 18-fret rosewood fretboard. This combination of wood types guarantees a guitar with full, warm sound, despite its small size.

Guitalele Tuning
The GL1-BL has six nylon strings and is tuned in ADGCEA, which is standard ukulele tuning with the addition of the low A and D strings. This means you can easily play along with other guitarists, who can use standard tuning with a capo on the fifth fret. This also means that it's easy for any guitarist to cross over to the Yamaha GL1-BL Guitalele!

Gewoon een leuk gitaartje! Een prima geluid en ideaal om mee te nemen op vakantie. De prijs is toegankelijk en het is echt een leuk instrument voor erbij, lekkere sound. Een geinig ding.

Voelt goed in de hand; de nek was wat breeder dan verwacht voor zo'n klein intrument, maar dit is alleen een voordeel.
Mooie mat zwarte finish; en, klinkt groter dan dat het is.
