The French Horn
French horns have traditionally been most commonly found in symphony orchestra, chamber ensembles, fanfares, bands, and also as a solo instrument. It popularity declined, but has risen again in recent years thanks to a new generation of successful young musicians who have helped transition the instrument from its classical roots to the worlds of pop and jazz.
